well, as you may very well know i'm taking up my masters in clinical psychology as well as second coursing nursing. part of my grad school program is a thesis and by the looks of it, it's not like an undergrad thesis na walang kwenta. it's like the real thing man.. like something you can even get published for. ever since i entered grad school, i've been thinking about what i'm going to do for my thesis. and yes, i realize that that's still like more than a year from now. yes, i realize that that's an unusally long time from now. i'm prioritizing nursing so i don't think i will take just one year for my 30 something units of masters. it'll be a while before i do actually have to start my thesis. i still have to finish my subjects, my practicum, and pass the comps. but thesis IS a big deal in these circles that i hope to one day be a part of. and i want to combine the fields that i am in (nursing, clinical psychology, and socio-cultural studies) so i'm thinking of writing about:
- emotional well-being, gratification, coping, and depression among women filipino nurses in the Philippines and in two other countries abroad - preferrably maybe Singapore or Hong Kong, and the US or Canada - with today's technology
No. that's not going to be the title or anything. its just basically a rough topic idea. basically i want to study all those in a cross-cultural sense. like is there a difference if you're a three hour flight away from the philippines compared to a 12 hour flight... or does today's technology - chatting, video conferenceing, pc-to-pc calls, international text messanging - help in their coping and help them fight depression more than when these technological advances hadn't even existed yet? I mean, do nurses abroad cope better and are less depressed (or whatever) now with today's technology, or is it just the same?
so with that.. i need help
is that even a valid study in a clinical psychology field? or is it too socio-cultural?
and i'm gonna need a lot of literature so if you guys come across anything even remotely related, let me know please :-)

procrastinating...
i just noticed, the only time i have to post is when i shouldn't have time in the first place
lost my wallet last friday
it had everything..
my new license, atms, credit cards, alumni card, dlsu id, insurance card
plus P100.
buti nalang it was returned by a security guard of the village assigned at a gate no one even uses.
my guess is it fell out of the car and someone picked it up stole my P100 and decided to return my wallet 2 days later
whatever.. important thing is i didn't have to spend P1000 plus to have all my cards and shit replaced

we decided to watch a movie.. ian wanted rent but i was too tamad to drive to glorieta. so we went to gateway and decided to watch just friends tang-ina parang natamaan ako but before the movie, since we were late for the first show, and too early for the second show gali though of roadtrip-foodtrip LRT to recto daw then food trip. we got to legarda and then thought of our beda friends. got off, called them but they weren't there. so we still decided to go down. after walking like a block, tinamad na si gali so jollibee nalang daw. so hence and therefore we went to mendiola just to eat in jollibee it was the experience naman daw eh! haha then we got back just in time for the movie... then we went to beginners night and it was fun! i'm a wanna go again a next a week a!!! who's a wit a me????
